The iQOO 13 has been in the spotlight recently, with new render leaks showcasing a striking design feature. Images surfacing on the Chinese platform Weibo reveal the back of the smartphone, which carries forward the design language of its predecessor, the iQOO 12. However, the most noticeable new addition is an RGB light surrounding the rear camera module. Here is everything to know.
According to leaks, the RGB light is expected to serve functional purposes like alerting users to incoming calls and notifications. Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station added that the light and lens are built from a single glass to offer a smooth and premium touch. But, this is not an official image and nothing is officially confirmed yet.
So far, iQOO has just shown the front design of the iQOO 13 in China. The official teaser image showed that the iQOO 13 will have a boxy design with flat frames and curved edges. It will feature a tiny notch on the front. The display seemingly has minimal bezels around it. iQOO hasn’t yet revealed the back camera look. The side frames are seemingly glossy. The rest of the details are expected to be revealed soon because the rumour mill claims that the iQOO 13 will launch in China in November this year.
The iQOO 13 is rumoured to debut in India on December 5, though it’s expected to first launch in China within the coming weeks. The Indian variant will likely ship with Funtouch OS 15, while the Chinese version will run on OriginOS 5, as confirmed by the company.
The upcoming iQOO 13 is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (or Snapdragon 8 Elite) processor. It could be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The device may sport a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
On the camera front, the iQOO 13 could house a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto shooter. For selfies, the phone might come with a 32-megapixel front camera. Powering the device could be a large 6,150mAh battery, with support for 100W fast charging. Do keep in mind that these details are based on the leaks so far.
