    Duncan & Miller Large Tavern Basket

    Duncan was known for its great baskets. This one was made in several sizes. This one is approximately 11 1/2" including the handle. The basket portion is approximately 6" tall by 7" wide at the top. This one is marked "PAT'D" on the bottom as are many of the Duncan baskets.
    The basket is clear and unstained but a stress mark or heat check can be seen and felt at the top of the basket. The last two photos show a close-up of the spot. Otherwise the basket is in excellent condition.
